POPVOX Foundation hosts webinar on coordinating casework with state and local offices

No casework team is an island, and few constituents understand which of their elected officials has jurisdiction over which program. Finding productive ways to coordinate with your state and local counterparts is not only important for handing cases off between jurisdictions, but can also help both sides more efficiently balance casework and outreach. At this session, panelists with experience working in state legislatures and local government will share tips for:

  • Figuring out your state/local context and resources

  • Building strong two-way relationships with state and local counterparts

  • Force-multiplier coordination on outreach and constituent education, and

  • Lessons from state-level connections between casework and oversight
