Internapalooza is back for Summer 2022—and now in-person! Internapalooza is a free, nonpartisan orientation and welcome session, hosted by the POPVOX Foundation and members of the First Branch Intern Project, in collaboration with the Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress. Over two days of interactive sessions, interns will get a real-life introduction to the skills they need to succeed in a Congressional internship and beyond, including:

• Building a professional network of mentors and peers,

• Navigating interactions with constituents,

• Understanding the legislative process,

• Writing for Congress and beyond,

• Making the most of a Congressional internship, no matter your intended career,

And much more.

Sessions are taught by current and former Congressional staff, former Congressional interns, and subject-matter experts on Congress. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with other interns at an evening reception, and attend 'drop-in' sessions for individual and small-group workshops on goal-setting, job interviews, resume writing, and more.

Internapalooza Summer 2022 will take place June 16th-17th in the Rayburn House Office Building. Interns must have their House/Senate credentials to attend. All sessions will be held in-person.
