Danielle Stewart joins POPVOX Foundation as the Advisor for Congressional Initiatives after more than a decade of Capitol Hill experience. She most recently served as Chief of Staff to a freshman Member of Congress, and has served in multiple roles for various member offices in the House and Senate, spanning from districts in California to New Hampshire. In 2019 she joined Rep. Tom Graves’ [R, GA] office as Communications Director shortly after he was named as Vice Chair for the Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress. Through the 116th Congress, Danielle served a dual role as Communications Director for Rep. Graves’ personal office and the Select Committee, helping to share the work of the committee and its bipartisan membership with the American people.

She started working on Capitol Hill two days after she graduated from college, and the sense of pride she had working in congress became hard to match. Most recently, Danielle served as Chief of Staff to a freshman Member of Congress, and has served in multiple roles for various member offices in the House and Senate, spanning from districts in California to New Hampshire.

In 2019 she joined Rep. Tom Graves’ [R, GA] office as Communications Director shortly after he was named as Vice Chair for the Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress. Through the Select Committee’s work, she developed a passion for supporting the Capitol Hill workforce and strengthening the institution on behalf of all Americans.

Danielle grew up in the Philadelphia area and graduated from The Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. She is a proud Philadelphia Eagles fan and marathon runner. Danielle lives in Northern Virginia with her husband, their son, and a Garfield-esque cat named Lily.
